Denomination DOC can be completed, second the characteristics of the wine, from one of the following mentions: DOCG (controlled and guaranteed denomination of origin); VQPRD (quality wines produced in specified regions); VSQPRD (sparkling wines of qualities produced in determined regions); VFQPRD (frizzanti wines of qualities produced in determined regions); VLQPRD (liquorosi wines of qualities produced in determined regions). To the acronym that contraddistingue the wine, can also be added names of geographic units that increase the prestige of the wine (common, fraction, small farm, to podere, vine).
